The article analyses the issue of developing the moral consciousness of future psychologists in the context of contemporary socio-cultural challenges, in particular war and crisis phenomena that significantly transform the system of moral orientations and values in society. It is emphasised that the professional activity of a psychologist involves direct contact with profound human experiences, work under conditions of increased moral pressure, exposure to clients’ moral dilemmas and the necessity to make decisions in situations of uncertainty and ethical contradictions that often have no clear solutions. It is argued that knowledge of ethical codes alone does not ensure the stability of a moral position, as decisive significance lies in the formation of moral consciousness as a multi-level psychological construct capable of integrating knowledge, values and reflexive comprehension. The paper highlights the role of the period of professional education, during which basic value orientations are established, moral attitudes are formed, and the ability for self-identification and moral reflection develops, which subsequently determines the quality of professional conduct and readiness to endure moral challenges.The article presents a model of moral consciousness in future psychologists as a systemic structure comprising four interrelated components: the axiological component forms a stable system of moral values and beliefs; the cognitive-reflexive component ensures the comprehension of moral principles, critical evaluation of one’s actions, and the ability to engage in moral analysis; the communicative-behavioral component reflects the implementation of ethical norms in professional interaction; the self-identification component integrates moral orientations into the structure of personal and professional identity. It is emphasized that the development of these components becomes particularly significant in the context of war and post-war realities, where the moral consciousness of a specialist is tested through practice.
