DIGITAL TRAINING OF FUTURE MASTERS OF EDUCATION: INTERNATIONAL TRENDS

Abstract

The article analyzes practical experience, data from official university websites, curricula and digital training programs for future masters of education. The specifics of the content of training programs for future masters of education in leading institutions of higher education in the countries of Asia, America and Europe are summarized. It has been found out that the variety of digital training of education specialists involves the introduction of special disciplines and interdisciplinary modules aimed at in-depth study of information and communication technologies, use of the Internet resources, critical analysis of media texts as well as the orientation of the training of future masters of education at new types of professional activity, determined by the current demands of the information society (active implementation of digital technologies, integration of education and information technologies and systems, training of specialists for electronic learning, use of digital resources in managerial educational activities); the organization of the implementation of educational digital projects to practice the skills of collective and management activities using information technologies as well as the introduction of new programs for the training of masters of education, which ensure the training of specialists for the implementation of professional activities exclusively in the context of digitalization. It has been specified that digital training of future masters of education abroad is carried out in several ways: 1) through the introduction of digital technologies into the process of professional training; 2) through the modification of the content of individual disciplines of the master's training curriculum of relevant modules, sections, topics, which involves the study of information and communication technologies for solving professional tasks; 3) through the introduction of disciplines directly aimed at the development of students' digital competence; 4) through the introduction of Master of Education training programs into the field of "Digital Education".
