COMPREHENSIVE INDIVIDUAL-PSYCHODIAGNOSTICS SUPPORT FOR TEACHING “CAREER MANAGEMENT” FOR DENTAL STUDENTS (PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF KYIV MEDICAL UNIVERSITY)

Abstract

The relevance of the article can be considered from both theoretical and methodological and applied aspects for specialists in psychological and pedagogical science and practice. The author presents the methodology fortesting the training course “Career Management” for second-year medical students of International Faculty of Kyiv Medical University with parallel application of complex psychodiagnostics techniques. Over the past three years, relevant topics have been tested, and the questionnaire texts have been translated and verified for reliability both Ukrainian and English. Some psychodiagnostics techniques were used to teach the discipline “Evidence-Based Medicine” to third-year foreign medical students. In accordance with the academic load, these disciplines will be taught in the amount of 20 hours, 10 planned pairs for each academic group in a mixed classroom/distancelearning format, taking into account security issues in the context of Russia's large-scale war against Ukraine.After the declared air raid alarms, all participants in the training process were to be in safe places (equipped bomb shelters). We applied the following psychodiagnostics methods: motives for choosing the profession of a doctor,typological, individual-psychological manifestations of temperament integrity, depressive states, empathic abilitiesof future doctors. The research was conducted in a mixed classroom/distance learning format. The novelty of thisarticle is the inclusion of an interactive component on the example of discussing the results of psychodiagnostics studies of students on the Google Class platforms of each academic group. We admit the feasibility of implementing comprehensive individual psychodiagnostics support when teaching other normative disciplines for the training of modern medical specialists.
