The article substantiates the psychological features of the use of artificial intelligence in education. It is found that one of the key psychological features of the use of AI is its ability to influence student motivation.AI systems, such as adaptive learning platforms, allow for the creation of individualized learning trajectories, which take into account the level of knowledge, learning pace and interests of each student. For example, AI-based platforms can offer tasks of optimal difficulty, which helps maintain intrinsic motivation through a sense of achievement. However, over-reliance on AI can lead to a decrease in independence and initiative, as students may rely on certain algorithms instead of developing their own self-regulation skills. For teachers, AI can act as a tool that reduces the routine workload (e.g., checking assignments), allowing them to focus on the creative aspects of teaching. This increases their professional motivation. At the same time, some teachers feel anxious due to the fear of losing control over the learning process or their role being replaced by technology, which may cause resistance to the integration of AI. The use of AI changes the dynamics of interaction between participants in the educational process. On the one hand, AI facilitates collaboration, for example through platforms where learners can solve tasks together using algorithmic recommendations. On the other hand, excessive automation can reduce social interaction, which is an important component of developing communication skills. It has been established that the use of artificial intelligence in education has significant potential for increasing the effectiveness of learning, but is accompanied by a number of psychological features that must be taken into account. AI can have a positive impact on the motivation, cognitive processes and emotional state of students and teachers if its implementation is accompanied by appropriate support and adaptation. At the same time, it is important to avoid the risks associated with over-reliance on technology, reduced critical thinking and social isolation. For the successful integration of AI into education, it is necessary to combine technological innovations with the psychological readiness of all participants in the process, creating a harmonious learning environment.
