Abstract

The article substantiates the methodological foundations and technology of sensitivity training as a conceptual practical method of realizing and developing interpersonal sensitivity. The content of sensitivity as a professional ability that determines the effective work of a family psychologist is outlined. The specifics of the counseling and psychotherapeutic work of family psychologists in relation to the double conditionality of the counseling information and emotional space are revealed. The integral competence of a family psychologist is defined, which is determined by the simultaneous consideration of multivariate images of the functioning of the family system, namely: perception and consideration of various experiences, attitudes, views, perceptions and positions of family members subjectively presented by clients. The means of preventing and overcoming the normative uncertainty of the future family psychologist at the stage of training are presented. The phenomenology of psychological counseling space as a dynamic system is presented. The operational aspect of the professional training of a family psychologist is revealed, which involves the development of the ability to establish contact, realize the impression and objectify knowledge through clarification of the request. The role of sensitivity in the professional activity of a family psychologist is defined and substantiated. G. Smith’s multicomponent theory of sensitivity is characterized. The key aspects of the development of social sensitivity in the form of observational sensitivity, theoretical sensitivity, ideographic and nomothetic sensitivity are outlined. The methodological foundations are outlined: principles, purpose, tasks, internal and external logic of the training program, its result are revealed. The organizational and methodological scheme of the training program “Social and Psychological Sensitivity Training” is proposed. The hourly methodical plan of the training program is presented. The content blocks and topics of the training program “Socio-psychological training of sensitivity” are described.
