FEATURES OF THE RELATIONSHIP OF LEVELS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS RESISTANCE OF COMMUNICATION STUDENTS WITH COPING STRATEGIES FOR OVERCOMING STRESS SITUATIONS

Abstract

The article examines the features of psychological diagnostics of signal cadets during preparation for participation in combat operations. The existing methodological tools for psychological diagnostics of military personnel are analyzed from the standpoint of identifying its advantages and disadvantages. The concept of combat stress is revealed and the possibility of predictive methods of psychological diagnostics for preventing the development of acute mental disorders among signal cadets during combat operations is analyzed. A brief description of the existingpreparation for participation in combat operations is given from the standpoint of forming the internal readiness of the individual to operate in adverse conditions. The existing methods of psychological training of signal cadets for operation during combat missions are compared with the methods of psychological diagnostics, which determinethe level of readiness of a serviceman to endure combat stress. Diagnostic methods are conventionally divided into a three-component structure, where there is a cognitive, emotional and behavioral component. Own experience ofmilitary service and psychological training of personnel for combat operations is presented. The paper provides anexample of organizing a three-stage system of psychological diagnostics of the level of readiness of signal cadets foraction in extreme conditions. The results of an empirical study on the formation of stress resistance among signalcadets are briefly analyzed and interpreted, the psychological features of their training and methods of forming the skills and reflexes necessary in combat are highlighted. Foreign and domestic theories are analyzed, revealing thebasic principles of forming stress resistance of military personnel to participate in combat operations. The presentedmaterial partially synthesizes and adapts foreign experience to the conditions of the modern Ukrainian army.
