THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPTS OF CONFLICT AND CONFLICT BEHAVIOR OF FAVORITISM

The article is devoted to the analysis of the theoretical foundations of the study of conflict behavior of the individual and related phenomena. In particular, the main scientific approaches to the study of conflict as a psychological and socio-psychological phenomenon are considered. Research trends in economic and social sciences are analyzed.It is found that in the broadest sense, conflict is viewed as a clash of interests, contradictions that arise as a result of dissatisfaction of human needs at different levels of the hierarchy. As a result of the theoretical understanding of the problem of conflict, new trends in research methodology are identified, characterized by considering conflict asa source of new opportunities.The sometimes identified identification of the concepts of “conflict behavior” and “behavior in conflict” has necessitated a clear operationalization of these definitions. As a result of the analysis of theoretical sources, conflict behavior has been defined as a process of human interaction with the environment, which reflects the predominanttendency of a person to perceive events in the surrounding life as threatening to his interests, thus forcing himto enter into confrontation. The analyzed modern studies of the concept of “conflict behavior” demonstrate the presence of unresolved aspects of this problem, in particular, the differentiation of behavioral and personal factors of such behavior. Theoretical studies of conflict behavior in the personal vector logically identify the theoretical problem of conflict of personality or conflict personality. The article analyzes the factors that determine the conflict behavior of a person. The result of the theoretical understanding of the problem of conflict behavior of a person was the identification of the parameters of conflict behavior.
