The article describes the empirical results of the study of post-traumatic growth of students in war conditions, in particular through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative empirical indicators of the phenomenon under study. The research methods used were reliable and valid methods, respectively: The Posttraumatic Growth Inventory by R. Tedeschi and L. Calhoun for quantitative assessment of posttraumatic growth; V. Shebanova’s methodology of narrative psychological analysis of crisis/traumatic events for qualitative research of psychological analysis of traumatic events that occurred in a person’s life; and the narrative “My War Story” for qualitative assessment of posttraumatic growth. The Posttraumatic Growth Questionnaire was used to determine the overall PGI and the intensity index of posttraumatic growth in three areas, which are divided into the following scales: 1) changes in self-perception – new opportunities, personal strength; 2) interpersonal relationships; 3) changes in the philosophy of life – spiritual changes and life values. The empirical results obtained are reviewed and analyzed in detail. The introspection of students’ inner work on personal transformation of values and awareness of their manifestations through the narrative “My War Story” is studied. It is determined that after the study, the qualitative indicators of the manifestation of post-traumatic growth of students complement and confirm the previously obtained quantitative empirical indicators. Based on the discussion of these indicators, conclusions are drawn about the need to develop effective support strategies and post-traumatic growth interventions for students who have experienced military conflict. Research of this kind is critical for understanding the impact of military conflict on the younger generation and for developing programs aimed at alleviating their psychological state and adaptation to war conditions.
