PSYCHODYNAMIC APPROACH TO IN-DEPTH COGNITION OF THE PSYCHE USING PSYCHODRAWINGS

Abstract

The article states the fact that the use of visualised self-presentation of the psyche (with its thematic differentiation) in the process of functioning of ASPC groups actualises the effectiveness of pratological thinking. The above is manifested not only in the fact that each person (without exception) easily visualises the psyche through the prism of thematic psycho-drawings, as well as arranges their sequence for psychoanalysis. The article argues that such an ordering is subordinate to the mechanism of participation. Practice shows that it makes no difference whether the drawings are selected from existing ones or drawn by oneself. Each person is able to perfectly arrange the sequence of psycho-drawings for their analysis (to rank them according to their psychological significance). The respondent visualises the psyche according to the subject of the psycho-drawings. The content of the article proves the effectiveness of deep cognition of the psyche in terms of its thematic visualisation. The article presents an updated version of the “Model of the Internal Dynamics of the Psyche” with the addition of the “Super-Id” category. The latter is a significant discovery in the format of understanding the essence of the psychodynamic paradigm, which touches upon the pattern of deviations from the reality of the earthly world in psycho-drawings. The article proves the activity of influence on the psyche in the pre-edipal period of mental development, beyond the subordination to the “principle of reality”. The article provides relevant empirical material that proves the impact on the psyche of a modern person of an archaic heritage that is not subject to the “principle of reality”. The empirical background of the article proves the fact that the visualised self-presentation of the participants of the ASPC group is an extremely necessary prerequisite for deep knowledge of the psyche.
