Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of psychological conditions for the development of soft skills of future specialists in the educational process of higher education. An analysis of foreign experience in the study of psychological features of soft skills and their formation was carried out. Revealed essential features of soft skills, related to competencies, that contribute to self-realization of future specialists are highlighted. Emphasis is placed on the need for active formation and development of soft skills in students at the stage of study in higher education institutions taking into account the optimal psychological conditions for the organization of the educational process. The methodological basis of the research was made up of the ideas of developmental learning, which are based on the conceptual provisions about the socio-cultural environment as a source of mental development of L.S. Vygotsky; the leading role of activity in the formation of O.M. Leontiev's personality; the importance of the subject's own activity in the process of his formation H.S. Kostyuk. It is stated that the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions does not yet have universal technologies for the formation of soft skills, but there is a positive experience that should be used. Professional training should be organized as a dialogic process of subjectsubject interaction, in which the student's own activity is combined with the conditions of a favorable educational environment. Among innovative technologies which are successfully realized for the development of soft skills there are person-oriented, technologies of cooperative learning, interactive, informational, technologies of projects. Usage of modern innovative methods provides creation of appropriate learning environment that includes certain organizational-pedagogical and social-psychological conditions. For the organization of personally oriented training for the purpose of developing soft skills, it is important to provide the subject with the opportunity to realize his own personal resources and activate them, to initiate the needs of self-development, self- improvement.
