WORD-FORMATION SPECIFICITY OF NON-USUAL INNOVATIONS PRODUCED BY HYBRID MODELS OF CREATING MODERN MILITARISTIC DISCOURSE

The article is devoted to the study of current trends in non-usual word formation in the modern Ukrainian language. Based on the material of military discourse texts extracted from the Ukrainian-language content of Facebook, Telegram, YouTube, etc., Ukrainian and foreign magazines, and information platforms, the author examines non-usual innovations of hybrid ways of creation. The purpose of the work is to study the wordformation features of non-usual innovations formed on the basis of hybrid word-formation patterns. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the hypothesis that recently in the speech practices of military discourse the creation of derivatives has been intensified, which are mainly the result of a combination of known non-usual tools and whose method of creation should be qualified as hybrid-non-usual. The observed tendency for neogenic processes in modern word formation to reach a new level. The innovations created with the use of hybrid nonusual tools are often structurally similar to similarly shaped and previously produced non-usual innovations. It is found that compression, graphification and polygraphification are most productively combined with other types of non-usual creation. The need for additional verification of the units for which hybrid word-formation patterns can be assumed is emphasized. The semantic specificity of the consequences of non-usual derivational processes often leads to the opacity of motivational relations, and hence to the polymotivization of new words. It is indicated that polymotivation is inherent in units that simultaneously contain two (sometimes more) significant characters within one shell. The author sees the prospects for further research in the further study of the structural and semantic organization of innovations formed with the use of non-usual “pure” and hybrid tools, and the functional features of such derivatives.
