SOCIAL COMMUNICATION AS AN IMPORTANT PREREQUISITE FOR SUCCESSFUL ACQUISITION OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

The article analyzes the integrative concept of social communication, substantiates the importance of studying and acquiring social communication skills in a higher education institution. It was noticed that there is an objective need for a comprehensive description of modern features of successful social communication during higher education and professional activity in the future. It is emphasized that in any institution of higher education attention should be paid to the further development of communication skills, since individuals usually enter into communication not only to exchange information, but to realize another life goal. It is proven that it is possible to achieve a significant result in any field only with the help of developed social communication skills, that is, communicating and discussing plans, intended tasks, intermediate results, conclusions. Five cornerstone conditions are identified that explain the importance and crucial importance of social communication for the formation and successful operation of a team: mutual understanding, cooperation and teamwork, problem solving, productivity and effectiveness, growth and learning. It was noted that clear and effective communication is crucial for ensuring the success of any project, promotes cooperation, personal development and professional growth. It was concluded that the effectiveness of social communication in education and during the performance of professional duties determines the quality of the acquired education and performance of professional duties in the future. It has been observed that almost all aspects of human life are permeated with social communication, therefore the development of theoretical and practical foundations of social communication is one of the most promising and important directions of the development of modern Ukrainian linguistics, the formation of which is determined by the needs dictated by the present of various socio-cultural groups.
