An attempt is made to analyse the relationships of the original and the second work by identifying linguistic / socio / intercultural problems of artistic translations from Turkish into Russian and English on the material of T. Dzudzhenoglu's play "Poor women". Artistic translation at one time played a revolutionary role in the development of Turkish literature due to its appearance in the nineteenth century. The works of the famous Turkish playwright T. Dzudzhenoglu (1944 – 2019) have been translated into 26 languages. His texts reveal the peculiarities of the nation, which is represented by T. Dzudzhenoglu. He is one of the few representatives of Turkish drama who managed to express himself outside his homeland, consolidating the position of Turkish drama in the world literary context. The playwright collaborated with translators and directors from different countries on individual productions of his works, introducing the world to Turkish drama. So the mission of the translator is too great, and the analysis proves it. The linguistic and cultural component of the work is considered mainly in the translation of appeals, author's metaphors, phraseology, constant expressions, profanity; the socio-cultural component of the context tends to the religious sphere and is considered in the study as a necessary condition for understanding the similarities and differences between cultures in translation, and figuratively speaking – communication between cultures; intercultural quests in translations of the play "Poor women" are found at the level of recoding background information. Aesthetic, semantic, linguistic and literary translation and translation issues are considered. The focus is on the reproduction in the translation of the historical, social, cultural and temporal space of the work, the preservation of socio-cultural components of religious differences in the country to which the original belongs. Methods of transmission of cultural realities in translation, observance of moderation and balance in the translation of obscene language are analysed, complete disregard for hidden connotations in translation and insensitivity to historical retrospective are noted. Inductive research revealed and classified transformations when translated into Russian and English. Interpretive comments are grouped by linguistic, sociocultural and intercultural principles.
