Abstract

The article describes in detail the patterns of conceptual modeling of computer neologisms in cyberblocks. Important scientific problems and the specifics of existing views of scientists in the field of this scientific research are considered. The views of famous linguists on the need to distinguish these linguistic aspects is outlined. Different approaches to conceptual modeling of this scientific research are identified. Modern linguistic explorations are presented, conditioned by the general orientation of the linguistic paradigm of knowledge towards the development of qualitatively new research objects that allow solving the problem of verbal positioning of integral dynamic fragments of extralinguistic reality, one of which is the sphere of computer technologies. The vocabulary of any language is updated through the emergence of new words, the development of new meanings in old words, or as a result of borrowing foreign words was highlighted. The concept of “cyberblock” is outlined. Dictionary definitions are arranged into cyberblocks. The explication of the conceptual content of cyberblocks was investigated. The history of the development of the conceptual scheme of cyberblocks is highlighted. Cyberblocks were outlined through the prism of conceptual analysis.A general model of the concept sphere of cyberblocks was constructed and filled with the developed cyberblocks. A systematic analysis of the concept sphere of cyberblocks and the characteristics of the units of the studied computer neology was carried out. A general hypothetical and conceptual model of the relationship between man and the computer sphere was tested. The results of human and computer activity are presented. Dictionary definitions of the studied computer neologisms are differentiated into cyberblocks. The regularities of the emergence of cyberblocks in English computer vocabulary are analyzed. The most common cyberblocks among neologisms in the computer sphere in various concepts are considered. The main sources of cyberblocks replenishment are identified. The main computer thematic groups in which the longest cyberblocks occur and the reasons for their occurrence are identified. The empirical material is stratified according to certain aspects of human and computer activity. It is noted that the concept sphere is a broad concept compared to the semantic space of language. Corresponding concepts are correlated. Quasisynonyms are differentiated by quantitative or qualitative features. It is proven that a specific method must meet the requirements that are put forward for a method as a way to obtain knowledge.
