Conditions
To publish scholarly papers in the special issue “1944: European and Ukrainian dimension of events” of a peer-revied journal “History & Archaeology”, it is necessary to take the following actions until August 27, 2024:

- send an article meeting the relevant requirements to storiataarheologia@gmail.com
Academic integrity
The editorial office guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of each paper. All articles are subject to plagiarism check via StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
Articles whose authors do not have a scientific degree should be supported by a review by a candidate or doctor of science in the relevant field or an extract from the minutes of the department (division) meeting on the recommendation of the article for publication.
By submitting an article to History & Archaeology, an author or a team of authors guarantees that the article is an original paper that has not been previously published or submitted for publication to another journal. They also guarantee compliance with the principles of academic integrity, and ideas that do not belong to the authors themselves are followed by appropriate references and/or citations.
The editorial board reserves the right to reject papers that do not meet the editorial requirements, are of poor scientific level, or violate the principles of scientific ethics.
Publication fee
The publication fee is 700 UAH (for 12 pages inclusively). Each extra page is paid additionally (40 UAH). The publication fee covers the costs associated with peer review, article editing and proofreading, page planning, and publication of the electronic version.
If desired, the author can order a printed copy. It costs 800 UAH paid which is paid additionally to the publication fee.
The electronic version will be publicly available on the website by November 15, 2024.
The printed version will be sent to the authors who order it by December 31, 2024.
